Job Summary: The Admin and Accounts Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of administrative and financial functions within the organization. This position involves managing day-to-day administrative tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the overall efficiency of the office. Interested must be a flexible candidate willing to work weekends and long hours

 

Job Functions/Responsibilities

  • Administrative Duties:
    1. Manage and organize office operations and procedures.
    2. Coordinate administrative procedures and processes.
    3. Provide administrative support to ensure efficient office functioning.
    4. Support in the recruitment activities of the company (On-boarding, Performance measurement and off-boarding)
    5. Maintain office supplies inventory by checking stock and anticipating needs.
    6. Maintain records of inventory and submit weekly & monthly reports.
    7. Manage and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical.
    8. Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
    9. Support other departments with administrative tasks as needed.

    Accounts Duties:

    1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
    2. Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
    3. Prepare and reconcile bank statements.
    4. Maintain accurate asset register and submit regular reports
    5. Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
    6. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
    7. Process employee expense reports and reimbursement requests.
    8. Payroll processing and ensure timely disbursement of salaries.
    9. Pension administration (record maintenance and payment).
    10. Monitor and manage petty cash transactions.
    11. Collaborate with external stakeholders, such as vendors and clients, to resolve financial issues.
    12. Prepare and filing of taxes (State and Federal).

Requirements/Qualifications

  • HND, Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in administrative and accounting roles.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary: N100,000 – N150,000/month. (Negotiable)
