Brand & Marketing Executive (FMCG)

Our client who is a multinational pharmaceutical/nutraceutical manufacturing company is looking to hire an experienced Brand & Marketing Executive (FMCG) for its business operations in Lagos.
About the role
The successful hire will be expected to: contribute to the marketing strategy to drive growth and profitability of a set portfolio, across all channels (retail and food service) under multiple brands. Reporting to the Head, Marketing and working collaboratively with the commercial, innovation and operations teams to develop and implement effective marketing strategy and plans incorporating; brand, communication, new product development and promotional activation to build brand equity and drive profitable growth.
Job description
  • Candidate is expected to develop a marketing strategy/ action plan┬á(on-line & channel partners (off-line) marketing activities for maximum results in each targeted market segment).
  • Design and oversees all aspects of products B2C marketing (digital & printed) activities including marketing database, web/online platforms, social media, communications and advertising campaigns with channel partners.
  • Monitor competitor activities┬áperformance to identify Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats
  • Plan and Control marketing activities in the field (with sports activities and medical institutions)
  • Supervise the budget for marketing functions, ensuring profit targets are achieved, and margins maintained┬á
  • Prepare and compile weekly reports of marketing activities.
  • Coordinate with other departments
  • Lead end to end marketing initiatives from concept through to execution
  • 2 years experience in strategic brand management / portfolio management within FMCG
  • Work experience from an FMCG company
  • Bachelors Degree in any Biological Social Sciences.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
