Job Description

Overview: We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, nurturing relationships with potential clients, and contributing to the company’s growth strategy. This role requires a proactive individual with a passion for sales and a strong understanding of market dynamics.

 

Job Functions/Responsibilities

  • Key Responsibilities:
    1. Lead Generation and Sales:
      • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through various channels, including networking, cold calling, and industry events.
      • Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential clients and track progress towards sales targets.
      • Conduct market research to identify new prospects and understand market trends.
    2. Client Relationship Management:
      • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with new and existing clients.
      • Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
      • Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
    3. Strategic Planning:
      • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement business development strategies.
      • Provide insights and recommendations for product/service improvements based on client feedback and market trends.
    4. Negotiation and Closing:
      • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients.
      • Negotiate terms and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
      • Ensure successful onboarding of new clients and seamless transition to account management.
    5. Reporting and Analysis:
      • Track and report on key performance metrics, sales activities, and market trends.
      • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management on business development progress and outcomes.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Qualifications:
    • Education: OND, BSC, Msc (With experience and proven records in Sales & Business Development)
    • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
    • Skills:
      • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
      • Strong understanding of business development principles and strategies.
      • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
      • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
      • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Salary: N120,000 – N200,000/month. (With commission)
