About the Job

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for the expansion/business development activities of the Company by identifying and appraising opportunities that will enhance shareholder value in line with overall strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for achieving set financial targets for sales turnovers and transaction revenue for the product in own portfolio
  • Generate demand by proactively reaching potential customers to make them aware of the company’s products and services, in the bid to utilize these services.
  • Provide leadership for the Business Development function
  • Assist Customers in specifying proper products/applications to meet application-specific requirements.
  • Responsible for ensuring the provision of requested product and service information, preparation of proposals and business requirement document for each potential sale.
  • Ensure effective collection and reduction of Trade Account Receivables (TAR)
  • Ensure the development and communication of periodic business performance reports clearly showing performance and robust analysis against targets, trend, variance, etc.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of a robust market intelligence research gathering and analysis framework to enable CINALT to keep abreast of key market happening, trends, developments and competitors’ activities to support decision making
  • Lead the acquisition of new opportunities, generating and managing the sales pipeline. Lead efforts to identify new profitable/ viable market customer segments/ markets.

  • % Market Share growth
  • Budget/Actual performance results
  • Quality and timeliness of monthly business report
  • Timeliness in meeting customer orders and requests
  • No of customers acquired in target Market
  • New business opportunities identified
  • % Increase in revenue/turnover in a given period.

Qualifications

  • 10 years post NYSC experience in business development or role.
  • Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience with a proven track record in business development/sales capacity within the Oil and Gas Industry.
