We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Manager to lead our team and drive the success of our retail store.

Job Description: As the Business Manager of our retail pharmacy in Lekki , you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store, managing a team of dedicated staff, and ensuring the delivery of excellent customer service. We are looking for a skilled professional with proven experience in retail management, people management, and inventory control.

Job Functions/Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the retail store operations, including sales, customer service, inventory management, and staff supervision.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to drive sales growth, maximize profitability, and achieve business objectives.
  • Train, and supervise retail staff, providing ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to ensure high levels of productivity and motivation.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ordering processes, optimizing stock levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess inventory and shrinkage.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company policies and procedures.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork, collaboration, and employee engagement.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for product expansion, pricing optimization, and promotional activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders, representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in retail management, preferably in a retail store environment.
  • Proven track record of success in managing people, driving sales growth, and optimizing operational efficiency.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team of employees.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of retail pharmacy operations and regulatory requirements is a plus but not required.

Salary: N150,000 – 200-000 Gross/month.
