Mercy Corps is implementing a 36-months program called MAIDA which will directly and equitably support the recovery of up to 200,000 men, women, boys and girls who are returnees, IDPs and members of host communities affected in southern and central Borno State, in accordance with the EU’s overall objective to build the resilience of conflict affected people and communities in Borno State in an environment-friendly way.
In view of the above, Mercy Corps has targeted 2,400 Adolescent Boys and Girls aged 10 to 19 in areas of displacement or return provided with life skills training, reproductive health knowledge and psycho-social support.
