Responsibilities

• Organize lectures and coursework in the classroom.
• Prepare the necessary materials and activities.
• Assign intriguing exercises and homework.
• Identify students with unique needs and develop tailored strategies for them.
• Determine exam and assignment grades.
• Provide comments based on workload and behavior in the classroom.
• Keep track of your pupils’ attendance and grades.
• Investigate novel language-learning techniques.
• Resolve conflicts and manage crises in the classroom.
• Parents should be informed about their children’s performance.
• Monitor pupils progress and provide relevant feedback by tracking their assignment and test grades.

Requirements

• B.Sc / BA in English Language or Literature is required; a Master’s Degree is a plus.
• 1 – 2 years of work experience.
• Previous teaching experience in English in a primary school.
• Understanding of a variety of instructional approaches.
• Detailed knowledge of the national curriculum as well as the English language requirements.
• Outstanding organizational and communication abilities.
• A patient and tenacious character.

Remuneration
N60,000 – N70,000 Monthly.
