Job Description

  • The General Sales Manager will be responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities, will direct the sales team and provide leadership skills toward achieving maximum profitability and growth in line with the company’s vision and values.
  • The ideal candidate is a motivated, well-organized individual who has a deep understanding of prospecting and developing strong relationships with customers within the Nigerian Real Estate Sector
  • Build a credible Sales Team by envisioning, training, engaging and enabling them.
  • Identify and develop opportunities to deliver outstanding results.


Job Functions/Responsibilities

  • Create sales promotional campaigns that maximize revenue potential.
  • Develop, implement and monitor of sales plans /budgets(weekly ,monthly, quarterly and yearly)
  • Ensures that team members adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Meets and exceeds the financial budget/goals of the company..
  • Create sales promotional campaigns that maximize revenue potential.
  • Study and understand the local market for increased revenue opportunities.
  • Drive advertising sales solutions utilizing integrated, idea-based programs including all components
  • Achieve company objectives through effective planning, setting sales goals, analyzing performance data, and projecting future performance.
  • Continuously develop personal leadership, hiring, and training skills while ensuring the team is using effective sales tactics to meet revenue objectives.
  • Generate leads, and build and nurture client relationships
  • Create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands customer base and extends global reach
  • Meet with potential clients and grow long-lasting relationships by understanding their needs
  • Track, analyze, and communicate key quantitative metrics and business trends as they relate to partner relationships
  • Recruit salespeople, set objectives, train and coach, and monitor performance ensuring assigned tasks and responsibilities are fulfilled
  • Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop a plan to fulfill them
  • Oversee the sales team to ensure company quotas and standards are met by holding daily check-ins with team to set objectives for the day and monitor progress regularly
  • Manage month-end and year-end close processes


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business Administration
  • B Sc/HND in Marketing, Sales Management, or related course from an NUC recognized university. Minimum of seven (7) years selling experience of Which a minimum of Four years must have been in managerial position, Must possess advanced skills in Microsoft word, excel, outlook and power point presentations.
  • Must have a proven record of heading a strong and successful team in a best practice environment selling ICT.
  • 7+ years in sales management within a corporate setting
  • Proven track record of success the sales cycle from plan to close
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Superb leadership ability
  • Expertise in Sell out Strategies of Electronic, Computing and Telephone Products
  • In-depth knowledge of marketing and sales operations and processes
  • Analytical and critical thinker of Numbers
