Job Title: Human Resources Officer

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Human Resources Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing HR functions, supporting employee relations, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and organizational policies. Job Functions/Responsibilities

  • Manage the recruitment process including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
  • Handle employee relations, resolve conflicts, and provide support to employees and management on HR-related matters.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to support the company’s goals.
  • Conduct performance appraisals and provide feedback to employees.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of training and development programs.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and industry regulations.
  • Prepare and submit reports on HR metrics and activities.

 

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 – 6years of experience in an HR role.
  • HR certifications such as CIPM (Chartered Institute of Personnel Management) or SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) are an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.

 

Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary: N100,000 – N250,000, depending on experience.
  • Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) coverage
  • Pension scheme
