Job Description

An IT Specialist maintain and improves  the technical systems of a company to ensure all employees have the technology they need to complete their work and the organization’s important files and information remain safe and intact.

Job Functions/Responsibilities

• Ensuring all systems run smoothly and efficiently.
• Ensuring security and privacy measures are in place.
• Monitoring security certificates and ensure the organization’s compliance with requirements.
• Troubleshooting and providing technical support to the company staff whenever needed.
• Installing necessary updates to company software and hardware .
• Staying within budget and allocating cost for necessary updates and upgrades.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Working knowledge of relevant operating systems, software and programming.
• Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
•  Have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or information technology.
• Ability to prioritize and manage time.
• Excellent troubleshooting abilities.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Keen interest in technological development and advancements.
• Ability to suggest process improvements.

Salary: N100,000/month.
