Job Description

As a Remote Medical Content Writer, you will be responsible for creating engaging and informative medical content for our app. You will collaborate with our team of health experts to produce accurate and reliable information that educates and empowers our users. We are looking for a detail-oriented and knowledgeable individual who is passionate about healthcare and has experience working in a health-related role, preferably for a health app.

 

Job Functions/Responsibilities

  • Research and write high-quality medical content for our app, including articles, blog posts, FAQs, and educational materials, covering a wide range of health topics.
  • Develop engaging and user-friendly content that resonates with our target audience and meets their informational needs.
  • Stay updated on the latest medical research, trends, and developments to ensure content is current and relevant.
  • Optimize content for search engines (SEO) and user experience (UX), incorporating relevant keywords and formatting techniques.
  • Edit and proofread content for accuracy, clarity, and consistency, ensuring adherence to brand voice and style guidelines.
  • Monitor content performance and user feedback, making data-driven decisions to improve content quality and user engagement.
  • Contribute to content strategy and planning, identifying opportunities for new content initiatives and improvements.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as medicine, biology, or journalism.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in a health-related role, preferably as a medical writer or content creator for a health app.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to communicate complex medical information clearly and concisely.
  • Excellent research skills, with the ability to gather and synthesize information from multiple sources.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and disease processes.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based medicine principles and medical literature databases.
  • Experience working remotely and independently, with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for health and wellness.
  • Availability to start on March 18th, 2024, and commit to full-time remote work.
