Job Overview
- The Operations Lead/Procurement Officer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our restaurant outlet while also overseeing procurement activities across multiple locations.
- This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual with exceptional organizational and leadership skills.
- The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Operations and collaborate closely with various departments to achieve operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Lead Responsibilities:
- Outlet Management: Supervise and lead the restaurant team, including hostesses and chefs, to ensure the highest level of service quality and customer satisfaction.
- Operational Efficiency: Implement and maintain efficient operational processes, including inventory management, table turnover, and food preparation, to optimize resource utilization and profitability.
- Customer Experience: Foster a culture of exceptional customer service, resolving guest issues and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety in accordance with company guidelines.
- Training and Development: Train and develop staff to uphold our service standards and continuously improve their skills.
- Reporting: Generate reports on key performance metrics and provide regular updates to the Head of Operations.
Procurement Officer Responsibilities:
- Vendor Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating contracts and terms to secure the best deals for the restaurant chain.
- Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies that optimize cost-efficiency and ensure the availability of high-quality ingredients and supplies.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, track consumption patterns, and implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and maintain optimal stock levels.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all procurement activities comply with food safety regulations and quality standards.
- Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analyses to identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend actions to reduce procurement expenses.
- Multi-Location Coordination: Coordinate procurement efforts across multiple restaurant locations to achieve consistency and efficiency in sourcing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND qualification.
- Proven experience in restaurant operations and/or procurement management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficient in vendor management and procurement best practices.
- Familiarity with restaurant inventory management is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Remuneration
- N60,000 – N70,000 Monthly.
