Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors.
Ensure accurate Import documentations are in place.
Follow up on custom agents to ensure smooth port clearing process.
Maintain supply chain inventory and records.
Create the company’s supply chain strategy.
Analyse data from shipping and delivering processes.
Monitor logistics to make sure they run smoothly.
Resolve issues that come up (e.g. bus services, delays in delivery, injuries).
Develop and implement safety guidelines in all aspects of the work place (e.g. use of trucks, forklifts)
Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards.
Requirements
HND / B.Sc in Supply Chain Management or related field.
Over 5 years experience in supply chain management.
Work days include (Monday – Saturdays).
Have a background in business or engineering.
Skilled with negotiation and vendor management
