What is NPower?
N-Power is a job creation and empowerment programme of the National Social Investment Programme of the Federal Government of Nigeria. The N-Power programme is for young Nigerians between the ages of 18 and 35.
Goals of NPower
- To intervene and directly improve the livelihood of a critical mass of young unemployed Nigerians.
- To develop a qualitative system for the transfer of employability, entrepreneurial and technical skills.
- To create an ecosystem of solutions for ailing public services and government diversification policies.
- To develop and enhance Nigeria’s knowledge economy.

When Will Npower 2022 Registration Portal Open?
The enrollment exercise for a new group (Batch C) of N-Power beneficiaries is to begin on June 26, the Federal Government announced on Friday. The online portal for the programme would be open for applications from noon on June 26, adding that all applicants must supply their Bank Verification Numbers for transparency.

When will Npower Stipend for 2021/2022 be paid?
For those who have been waiting for their NPower 2021 Stipend to be paid, According to the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs Disaster Management and Social Development, Hajiya Sadiya Farouq, the delay is because the handing and taking over process is yet to be concluded.
The minister also explained that the delay is not unconnected to the lack of a proper exit plan for beneficiaries that enrolled in 2016 despite the expiration of their contract.
Moving forward, the minister noted that the ministry was making efforts to develop an exit plan which was not in existence.
She however assured that the money owed would be paid to beneficiaries upon conclusion of the handing over and taking over the process, adding that government will continue to fund its Social Investment Programmes and ensure that it touches lives positively.
She disclosed this in her office in Abuja on Monday during a press briefing.
