Nigerian Military School (NMS) Admission form 2020/2021

The Online Application for Admission into The Nigerian Military School Zaria www.nms1954.sch.ng for the 2020/2021 session has Commenced. Application commences on 1st March 2020, and closes 9th March 2020. Entrance examination is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 16th May 2020 at all designated examination centres nationwide.

How to Apply for Nigerian Military School 2020 Admission

1. Interested candidates are to visit NMS portal at www.nms1954.sch.ng and click the APPLY tab.
2. Click the BLUETAB to open the Application page and read the instructions carefully, then click the START button.
3. Follow steps 1 – 4 of the application process to fill in all the required data and click the GENERATE FORM button to generate candidate’s form and open the PAYMENT ADVICE page.
4. At the payment advice page, payment can e made through:
   • Online using bank issued ATM Card. Click the PAY ONLINE button on tpayment advice page and you shall be redirected to the Interswitch platform to complete the payment.
   • Bank Branch Click PAY AT BANK button and wait for a few seconds for your details to be forwarded to the bank in advance, then print the payment advice and take it to any of the banks listed to make payment. After making payment, return to the portal to complete the Online Application.
5. Candidates can submit their forms on the portal only when payment is confirmed and a valid Passport-sized photograph is uploaded.
6. After the final submission, Candidates are advised to print clear copies of their Application  Form, Payment Advice Slip and Examination Photo Card from the portal. Candidates MUST present their Examination Photo Card at the Examination Centre on the day of Entrance Examination.

How To Pay For Nms Admission Application Form

Once every year, NMS opens admission for suitably qualified candiates to apply. The application period usually opens between middle of February to end of May. Find below, the procedure for making payment for the admission application form:

1. 1. NMS Application Form Fee is ₦2,300.00 only; inclusive of Bank Transaction Charges.
   2. Payments for NMS admission application form can be made in two ways, viz:
      • By printing your payment slip and taking it to a bank for payment, or
      • By paying directly online using your bank-issued debit card (i.e. ATM card).

 

1. If you wish to pay online, simply log in to the Candidate’s Dashboard and click the “My Payment” tab. When the payment advice slip opens, click the “Pay Online” button and complete the transaction.
2. If you prefer to pay physically at a Bank, simply log in to the Candidate’s Dashboard and click the “My Payment” tab. When the payment advice slip opens, click the “Pay At Bank” button, then print out the payment slip and take it to any of the designated Banks to make payment.

Please note:

• All payments (both online and Bank branch) are securely processed by Interswitch. For direct online payments, Interswitch accepts Verve, Naira MasterCard, and Visa.

Nigerian Military School (NMS) Entry Requirements

Once every year, NMS opens admission for suitably qualified candiates to apply. The application period usually opens between middle of February to end of May. NMS trains male Nigerian Boys only. Admission of Boys into the School is strictly for JSS1 ONLY. Find below, the key entry requirements for admission into NMS:

1. The Candidate must be a male Nigerian.
2. The Candidate must be at least 12 years old and not more than 14 years old by September of the year of entry.
3. The Candidate must have completed Primary School education.
4. The Candidate must be medically and physically fit.
5. The Candidate must be of good moral character.
6. The Candidate must fill and submit his application form online through this portal.
7. The Candidate must sit for the Entrance Examination on the scheduled date and at the venue chosen by him while filling the online application form.
8. Candidates are to report to the Examination Centre with the ORIGINAL COPY of their Exam Photocard as generated from the portal. Candidates without Exam Photocard shall NOT be allowed to sit for the exam.
9. Candidates invited for selection interview will be made to undergo compressive physical and medical examinations.
10. Candidates invited for selection interview will be required to come with original copies of Birth Certificate, completed Local Government Certificate of Origin and Exam Photocard.

Please note that:

• • Admission into NMS is open to all male Nigerians who fulfil the given entry requirements. It is NOT restricted to only children of Military Personnel.
  • NMS does NOT accept students on transfer from other schools. All candidtes must enroll at JSS 1 and then work hard and diligently to complete their education and training up to SS 3.

Once every year, NMS opens admission for suitably qualified candiates to apply. All candidates applying for admission into NMS must sit for an Entrance Exam at designated Centres nation-wide.
