Job Description: As a Product Photographer / Cinematographer, you will play a crucial role in capturing high-quality visual content to showcase our products and elevate our brand image. We are looking for a passionate and creative individual who is adept at product photography and cinematography, with a keen eye for detail and a flair for storytelling.

 

Job Functions/Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with creative directors, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
  • Plan and execute product photography and videography shoots, ensuring that products are captured in the best possible light to showcase their features and benefits.
  • Set up and arrange product displays, props, and backgrounds, considering composition, lighting, and aesthetics to create visually appealing images and videos.
  • Utilize advanced photography and videography techniques, including lighting, framing, and camera settings, to achieve desired visual effects and storytelling elements.
  • Edit and retouch photos and videos using industry-standard software to enhance visual quality and appeal, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and standards.
  • Manage and maintain photography and videography equipment, ensuring proper functionality and organization to support efficient workflow.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and technologies to continuously improve skills and capabilities, and share knowledge with the team.
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards, delivering final assets on time and within scope.
  • Uphold professional standards of conduct and ethics, representing the company in a positive and professional manner at all times.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in photography, cinematography, visual arts, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Product Photographer / Cinematographer, with a strong portfolio showcasing exceptional product photography and videography skills.
  • Proficiency in photography and videography techniques, including composition, lighting, and camera operation.
  • Expertise in editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro.
  • Strong creative vision and storytelling abilities, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Availability to work onsite at Victoria Island, Lagos, and flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed.
  • Must have own camera equipment.
